Defense leader offers incense to fallen soldiers
PANO - Delegates at a scientific seminar on Hoa Binh Victory, led by Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, visited and offered incense at Hoa Binh Operation fallen soldiers’ cemetery on December 6 in Hoa Binh city.
In the solemn atmosphere, the delegation laid flowers and observed a minute’s silence in remembrance of fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the operation.
The delegates also offered incense at the fallen soldiers’ graves in commemoration of their contribution.
* On the same day, a delegation of the Military Region 3 (MR3) Command and the Vietnam Military History Institute, led by MR3’s Second-in-Command Major General Ha Tat Dat, visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers and policy households in Hoa Binh city, Hoa Binh province.
On this occasion, General Dat inquired after and encouraged the wounded soldiers, hoping that they would promote the precious traditions of Hoa Binh Operation, be an example of the Party’s guidelines and State’s law observance, contributing to the local and national development.
