At the working session, the academy’s director Major General Phan Tung Son reported on the school's effective implementation of the Defense Minister’s conclusion which was made on March 16, 2022 during his visit to the school.
In particular, the school has signed cooperation programs with Military Region 1 and Military Region 2’s Division 316, collected units’ chains-of-command’s opinions on the school’s training quality, and worked with relevant agencies to compile logistics documents. It has developed training programs, night training plans, and organized exercises in line with real situations and with information technology application.
The academy has renovated teaching and studying methods to improve the command of foreign languages of detachment-level logistics officers, effectively boosted digital transformation in its operations. Notably, its training results have been higher than those at the time of inspection last year.
On hearing reports and opinions, Defense Minister Phan Van Giang hailed the academy’s Party committee, Board of Directors for their great efforts, serious implementation of the aforementioned conclusion, early issuance of leadership resolution and building of plans to realize tasks. He pointed out the school’s shortcomings and limitations which need to be fixed in the coming time.
The defense chief asked the unit to focus on realizing higher levels’ resolutions, conclusions and directives on military and defense duties and education and training work, especially the Central Military Commission’s resolution on renovating training work to meet military building requirements in the new situation.

He urged it to maintain regularity, observe discipline and other regulations, concretize its motto “training quality is combat readiness ability,” create conditions for instructors to improve their expertise, and enhance application of information technology, digital transformation.
The school should also pay attention to improving its staff and cadets’ spiritual and material life, learning and living conditions; building a healthy, politically-, ideologically-, morally-, organizationally-strong Party organization, a united unit with standardized environment of culture and education; and carrying out projects to serve training missions, General Giang said.
