PANO – General Phung Quang Thanh, Politburo Member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defence, on September 16th worked with the Disciplinary Committee of the Central Military Commission.

On behalf of the committee, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Nghi, Deputy Chief of the Disciplinary Committee, briefed General Phung Quang Thanh upon the organizational structure and task performance of the committee and  raised recommendations to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission to strengthen leadership, instruction, and direction so that the Disciplinary Committee of the Central Military Commission as well as disciplinary committees at all levels in the military better fulfill their tasks.

Addressing the meeting, General Phung Quang Thanh hailed the past achievements of the committee and required that the committee strengthen supervision work to firmly maintain the revolutionary qualities of the army and build an elite, regular, and modern army, capable of meeting task requirements in the new period.
