COVID-19 prevention and control forces in Southwestern border to be vaccinated
PANO – Military Hospital 175 of the Ministry of National Defense cooperated with the Tay Ninh provincial Border Guard Command to give COVID-19 vaccine shots to newly enlisted youths and COVID-19 prevention and control forces along the Southwestern border and on May 12.
During this week-long vaccination drive, medical workers will give the second COVID-19 vaccine shots to the Tay Ninh provincial Border Guard Command’s troops who have worked at medical checkpoints and watch posts in border areas. Military Hospital 175’s medical workers will also administer the first COVID-19 vaccine shots to enlistees of the provincial Border Guard Command.

Amid the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, Military Hospital 175 set up an observation area equipped with adequate equipment to monitor the vaccinated people’s reaction to the vaccine and deal with cases with severe side effects in a timely manner.
Before the vaccination drive, a COVID-19 vaccination refresher course was held for medical workers of Military Hospital 175.
