PANO – The Transportation Department, under the Military General Department of Logistics, has launched a contest, “Regularity – Safety – Effectiveness”, for military transportation units of army corps.

At the launching ceremony, Major-General Do Nang Tinh, Deputy Chairman of the General Department of Logistics, said that the agency has effectively carried out many programs to improve the quality of logistic tasks in the whole army.
He added that this contest will help army transportation units become more regular, effective and modern.

In response to the contest, all military transportation units have held various activities for the contest from the beginning of this year.

The units’ troops have always tried to accomplish all tasks and executed all regulations and rules.

In addition, the units have elevated soldiers’ awareness of traffic safety by opening training courses on traffic rules and learning experiences from transportation tasks.

The organising panel will choose six units to check and give marks from now to early November. Transportation Battalion 74 under the Technical Department of the Engineering Service is the first to get a mark.
