Participating in the exercise were ships and boats from flotillas and squadrons, representatives from agencies of the Vietnam Coast Guard, and units of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command.
In the live-fire content, officers and soldiers strictly followed safety regulations, mastered the functions and tactical-technical features of weapons and ammunition, and carried out each shooting scenario in accordance with procedures. They demonstrated composure and confidence, successfully accomplishing the exercise with absolute safety.

The tactical exercise at the flotilla level, with squadron-level confrontation format, consisted of three stages connected by operational orders and announcements. Particularly, Stage 3 involved simulated combat confrontation, with scenarios of escalating complexity implemented in line with the intentions of the exercise’s directing board.

After completion, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command held conferences at various levels to review outcomes. At the region-level conference, Major General Tran Van Luong, Commander of Coast Guard Region 4, commended the results achieved during the exercise and requested all agencies and units to thoroughly grasp higher-level directives, regulations, and guidelines on training and combat readiness. He emphasized the need to design field training exercises with scenarios closely reflecting the realities of safeguarding sovereignty, security, and safety over seas and islands in the current context, while proactively implementing comprehensive measures to improve training quality.
