PANO - The Command of Coast Guard Region 2, in association with the Government Portal, launched a program titled “Helping needy children with schooling”, presenting gifts and scholarships to children of its needy troops and local students on October 15 in Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province.

Accordingly, the organizers handed over 100 scholarships worth VND 200 million, 30 bikes and a number of gifts to its needy troops’ children and disadvantaged students in Tam Quang and Tam Hai communes and Tran Cao Van Secondary School (in Nui Thanh district).

The meaningful gifts aim to encourage the students to overcome their difficulties to earn good academic outcomes.
