General Cuong and the delegation expressed their delight at the positive changes at the frontline of the Fatherland. The delegation inquired after troops and islanders, listened to their thoughts and aspirations, shared difficulties, and provided encouragement.

General Cuong highly appreciated the pro-active, self-reliant, resilient, and creative spirit of troops on the islands and platforms, affirming that the CMC, MND, the entire military and people nationwide always place full trust in the forces carrying out the sacred mission of safeguarding national maritime sovereignty.

He hoped troops would continue to promote unity and brotherhood, overcome hardships, and excellently accomplish all assigned tasks. He also affirmed best care for the Truong Sa special zone and the DK1 platforms.

He also urged units to strictly maintain combat readiness duty, rehearse plans, coordinate to handle situations, closely manage assigned waters and airspace, and do mass mobilization work effectively.

As Tet is around the corner, the delegation wished troops a warm, cozy, high combat readiness Tet in depth of troops-people sentiments.
