1st Russian Olympics Contest concludes in Hanoi
PANO – The first Russian Olympics Contest organized by the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) for schools and academies in the military has just wrapped up in Hanoi.
The closing ceremony was chaired by Lieutenant General Ngo Minh Tien, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the VPA.

Sixty contestants from the Military Techniques Academy, the Air Defense and Air Force Academy, the Naval Academy, the Army Officer Training School No.1, the Armor Officer Training School and the Air Officer Training School have taken part in various tests for individuals and teams such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
The four best teams that moved on to the final were the Naval Academy, the Military Techniques Academy, the Army Officer Training School No.1, and the Air Defense and Air Force Academy.
The organizers handed over the first team prize to the Military Techniques Academy and the second team prize to the Army Officer Training School No.1, while presenting five first, five second, and ten third prizes to individuals.
