PANO - The delegation of Vietnamese young officers on December 18th visited the Indian Mechanized Infantry Training Center and the Armour Training Center.
Brigadier General G.H. Pamadi, Commandant of the Mechanized Infantry Training Center, cordially received and briefed the delegation upon the history, traditions, functions and tasks of the unit. The young Vietnamese officers then enjoyed the unit’s live-fire performance with new generations of infantry rifles and technical mechanized infantry equipment of India. The delegation also toured the simulation and training facilities for mechanized infantry.

The same day, the delegation visited the Armour Training Center, specializing in training and education, performing both duties of an officer training institution and a training unit. The highlight of the center is the application of advanced information technology in all training facilities.
Young Vietnamese officers also exchanged with the units’ commanders, instructors, and officers the information concerning the training of arms and services of the Vietnam People's Army, introducing the history, political work, defense external affairs, etc. of the army and the culture and tradition of the land and people of Vietnam as well as the Vietnam people's Army.
