The visit aimed to enhance exchange and cooperation between the two hospitals at the U.N. Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).

Earlier, a mission of India’s L2FH, led by its Commanding Officer Colonel Rishi Raj visited the Vietnamese hopsital during which the Vietnamese blue berets shared their experience in treating patients. Last July, the Vietnamese and Indian hospitals jointly organized an online training to raise capacity of healthcare and COVID-19 prevention and control for the first time.

During the visit to the Indian hospital, the Vietnamese delegation made a tour around its premises and learnt its SOP (standard operating procedure) process. This process has carefully built and updated over the past 12 years of operation of the hospital at UNMISS.
