The Vietnamese ministry presented 20 disinfectant sprayers, 5,000 pieces of protective clothing, 662 hand sanitizer bottles, 338 bottles of antiseptic skin cleanser, and 50,000 medical face masks to assist the Cambodian Defense Ministry in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking at the event, General Kong Saly, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Logistics and Head of the Department of Military Medicine of the Cambodian Defense Ministry, highly appreciated the Vietnamese Defense Ministry’s donation. He said that despite facing numerous difficulties in COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, the Vietnamese ministry still gives its medical supplies to the Cambodian Defense Ministry, supporting the Cambodian fight against the pandemic.

The Cambodian officer emphasized that the gifts showed the two ministries’ cooperation in the fight against SARS-CoV-2, contributing to strengthening the Vietnam-Cambodia traditional solidarity and friendship in general and the two defense ministries in particular in a sustainable manner.
