An overview of the SDD-13

This year’s event drew the participation of about 900 delegates from 70 countries and international organizations, including delegates at defense-ministry level.

The SDD-13, with theme “International Cooperation Beyond Global Security Challenges,” included three plenary sessions: Preventing war and protecting the international order based on laws; building a free, peaceful and prosperous Indo-Pacific; and addressing security crises in a connected world. At these plenaries, delegates shared their viewpoints on the world and regional issues of mutual concern, contributing to building trust among participating parties and promoting dialogue and cooperation.
