The performance of the “Army of Culture” contingent of the Vietnam People’s Army |
The first competition of the “Army of Culture” contingent of Vietnam took place at the Central House of the Russian Armed Forces named after Frunze. In this competition with nine rivals, the Vietnamese artists had the second musical instrument duet performance.
In the afternoon the same day, there was a solo competition on the first work.

The same day, at Forish training ground in Jizzakh province, Uzbekistan, the Field Kitchen contingent of the Vietnam People’s Army entered the shooting stage of the Field Kitchen event. Vietnam’s rivals are from Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Tajikistan.
The Field Kitchen event comprises of three competition stages of shooting in which the combat readiness posture of the cook is checked; cooking and baking of bakery products according to free recipe; and cooking and baking according to the menu.
According to the organizer’s results, in the shooting stage, the Vietnamese contingent ranked the second.
The contingent will compete in the next stage on August 16.

Also on August 13, the military medical force of Vietnam gave first aid and treatment to Warrant Officer Andrei Zhukov at Central Military Hospital 108 (Vietnam). Zhukov, a member of the Russian “Emergency Area” contingent, was injured during practice ahead of the Army Games 2022 in Vietnam.
The Russian member thanked the medical force of Vietnam People’s Army for their care and treatment. He hoped that he could soon recover to cheer participating contingents.
