Vietnamese chemical contingent pockets bronze at Army Games 2019
PANO – The Army Games 2019 concluded on August 17 at Korla Military Training Base in China’s Xinjiang with an awarding ceremony.
In the “Safe Environment”, one of the four events hosted by China, the chemical contingent of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) ranks third, after the host China and Russia.

Besides the medal, Vietnam also claimed four individual prizes, including the Elite Referee title for Senior Colonel Pham Dai Lam, Deputy Chief of the Technical Department of the Chemical Corps, the Outstanding Shooter title for Second Lieutenant Vu Van Hung, and the Elite Athlete title for Second Lieutenant Cao Van Dien and non-commissioned First Lieutenant Trinh Ba Duong.
The ceremony concluded with special artistic performances and colorful fireworks.
The Vietnamese chemical troops will return home tomorrow.
