Vietnamese army shooters win more gold medals at AARM-32
PANO - On November 20, during the fourth day of competition at the 32nd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM-32) in the Philippines, the shooting teams of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) contingent excelled, claiming an impressive haul of 15 gold medals and 5 bronze medals.
Four out of five teams of the VPA contingent, who competed in the categories of women’s pistol, men’s pistol, machine gun, and rifle, were qualified for the finals.
Their achievements included 5 gold medals of women’s pistol team, 5 gold medals of men’s pistol team, 5 gold medals of machine gun team, and 5 bronze medals of carbine team.
The VPA rifle team secured a place in the finals, which are scheduled for November 22.
As of now, the VPA contingent has earned a total of 41 medals at AARM-32.
