This was underlined by Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, at a meeting with the shooting contingent at Mieu Mon National Training Center in Hanoi on November 11.

Reportedly, prior to AARM-29, members of the contingent gathered at the center for intensive training to hone their skills. All scores at recent tests were reportedly higher than those of previous years.

Addressing the event, General Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the contingent in training and completing all preparations for the competition.

The general tasked all Vietnamese firers with heightening the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, closely following the event’s regulations and the host country’s laws and customs, and enhancing friendship among militaries in the region.

In addition, they were also asked to ensure absolute safety for both personnel and equipment.
