Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the building

Addressing the ceremony, General Pol Saroun applauded the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence’s assistance to the RCAF, adding that the school showed the traditional cooperation between the two armies. He affirmed that the Cambodians remembered and appreciated the Vietnamese Government's and voluntary soldiers’ support in liberating the country from the Khmer Rouge genocide regime.

The school was built at a cost of US$ 1 million, funded by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence, including US$ 300,000 in the first phase.

Under a recently signed cooperation agreement, the Vietnam People’s Army will disburse about US$ 4 million for basic construction for the RCAF.
