Participants in the joint patrol were troops from the Border Post of Bo Y International Border Gate (Kontum province, Vietnam), Border Protection Company No.541 (Attapeu, Laos), and Kontuneo Border Police Post (Ratanakiri, Cambodia).
The trilateral patrol team checked border landmarks, exchanged related information, and finalized measures to ensure local social order and security.
The joint activities were an opportunity for the three countries’ border guard forces to consolidate solidarity, credibility, trust, and cooperation during their task performance.
Over the past time, the three countries have reached and effectively implemented a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding on border cooperation.
