After the welcoming ceremony, the two delegations planted trees in the barracks of Border Company 320.

On the occasion, Col. Hai visited and presented gifts to Border Company 320, affirming that the cooperation between the two sides over the past time has seen remarkable outcomes, contributing positively to the border management and protection tasks, as well as cultural, and socio-economic development along the borderline.

Reportedly, in 2022, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense financed the construction of Border Company 320’s barracks covering a total area of 61,000 square meters. This is a facility that the Vietnamese ministry granted to the Lao Ministry of National Defense, hoping to stand side by side with the Lao People’s Army in general, and the Lao border protection and management force in particular, thus enhancing the infrastructure and troops’ lives.

* In the framework of the program, on the same day, delegates visited the Laos-Vietnam Combat Alliance Museum in Densavan hamlet, Sepon district, Savannakhet province.
