Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San pays courtesy visit on Cambodian Defense Minister
PANO - Within the framework of the working program in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, paid a courtesy visit on Cambodian Defense Minister General Tea Seiha on October 25.

During the visit, Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San congratulated Cambodia on obtaining many important achievements in socio-economic development and the success of the election of the 7th National Assembly.
The Vietnamese deputy defense minister expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Cambodian People's Party, headed by its President Hun Sen, and the administration of Prime Minister Hun Manet, Cambodia will achieve greater outcomes in the time to come.
Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San also sent good health wishes from Vietnam’s Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang to General Tea Seiha. He also suggested the Cambodian general continue to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises in general and military ones in particular to invest in Cambodia in the coming time.

For his part, General Tea Seiha thanked the Party, State and Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam for supporting Cambodia during wartime as well as in national construction and development, hoping that the Vietnam - Cambodia relations, especially defense cooperation would be further promoted and cultivated in many fields.
The Cambodian defense minister affirmed that he himself would be in favor of Vietnam's activities in Cambodia, including the Vietnam - Cambodia Defense Economic Production Exhibition 2023 (VIDEX 2023) taking place in Phnom Penh from October 25 to 29. Over the past time, Vietnamese enterprises have invested in Cambodia, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development. General Tea Seiha hoped that in the coming time, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense would continue to support Cambodia in all fields.
On the same day, the delegation visited the Vietnamese Embassy and Defense Attaché Office in Cambodia.
