Welcome ceremony for the Republic of Korea Navy’s training vessel Hansando at Tien Sa Port

Attending the welcome ceremony at Tien Sa Port were representatives of the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs; Naval Region 3 Command; Coast Guard Region 2 Command; the Da Nang Municipal Military Command; the Da Nang Border Guard Command under the Da Nang Municipal Military Command; the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of National Defense; the Military Security Protection Department; and the Foreign Relations Division of Military Region 5.

The Korean delegation included Lieutenant Colonel Park Jeong Hwan, the Republic of Korea’s Defense Attaché to Vietnam; officials from the Korean Embassy in Vietnam; the Korean Consulate General in Da Nang; and members of the Korean community in the city.

During the visit, the Korean side will carry out several activities, including courtesy calls on the leaders of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Military Region 5, and Naval Region 3 Command; sports exchanges with the Vietnam People’s Navy; and cultural tours for the ship’s crew.

The visit of the training vessel Hansando demonstrates the commitment to enhancing mutual understanding and trust between the two navies, contributing to strengthening bilateral defense cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
