Quang Ninh’s Military Command welcomes high-ranking Cambodian military delegation

Major General Hoang Minh Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Operations Department of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, attended the event.

Leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command present a gift to the Cambodian delegation.

During the working session, Senior Colonel Pham Van Ton, Second-in-Command of the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command, warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed the guests on the province’s political, economic, and social situations, along with the recent achievements in local military and defense tasks.

For his part, Lt. Gen. Balen provided an overview of the Cambodian officers’ field trip in Vietnam, while expressing his heartfelt appreciation for the warm welcome extended by the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command. He noted that the delegation had embraced the valuable experience in implementing local military and defense tasks.

The head of the Cambodian delegation also voiced his hope for the continued strengthening of the “good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and everlasting solidarity” between the Parties, States, peoples, and armed forces of Vietnam and Cambodia.
