Major General Vu Cong Toan, Deputy Political Commissar of the academy speaking at the ceremony
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Vu Cong Toan, Deputy Political Commissar of the academy highly valued the relationships between Vietnam and Laos; and Vietnam and Cambodia. Over the past time, the academy has carried out a number of training courses for more than 1,500 Lao and 800 Cambodian trainees from the Lao People’s Army and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF). He hoped that after the training courses, the Lao and Cambodian graduates could successfully apply their acquired knowledge to their work. The effective cooperation has also demonstrated solidarity and friendship among the armies of the three countries.

On behalf of the Lao and Cambodian trainees at the academy, Major Kham Phi Bun Mi Xay of the Lao People’s Army expressed the honor to study at the academy and promised to try their best to enrich their knowledge and improve their experience so that they can apply the acquired knowledge to real activities of their militaries in the future.
