PANO - The General Department of Logistics under the Ministry of National Defense concluded a staff training course on logistics and petroleum supply for officers of the Lao People's Army on October 10 under the chair of its Deputy Chief, Major General Phan Ba Dan.

The course helped the Lao officers improve both theory and practice on logistics staff and command work, petroleum supply, building a regular logistics sector in the army.

The closing ceremony

During the two-month course, 20 trainees from the Lao Ministry of National Defense studied regular logistics work, planning, management and inspection, making reports, to name just a few.

They also toured some models of logistics supplies, gas stations, and petrochemical establishments in relevant units of the General Department of Logistics.

The course has contributed to strengthening solidarity, and special friendship between the two peoples and two armies in general and the two military logistics sectors in particular.
