At the handover ceremony

The ceremony was attended by Naval Region 5 Commander Rear Admiral Nguyen Duy Tu; Second-in-Command of the Command for Protecting Islands and Coastline under the Royal Cambodian Navy Admiral Srun Saroeun; representatives of the Saigon Newport Corporation, Joint Stock Company 22 of the General Department of Logistics; Division of Foreign Relations of the Vietnam People’s Navy; and the Cambodian representatives.

The assistance included 200 two-floor iron beds, three systems of double oil stoves 250/K20, and 100 sets of tables and chairs (100 tables and 600 chairs), totally worth VND 3 billion.

Addressing the event, Rear Admiral Nguyen Duy Ty briefed delegates upon the traditional relations between the two peoples, militaries, and navies, hoping that the assistance would help the Cambodian side raise the quality of logistic work so as to meet all task requirements in the coming time.

For his part, Admiral Srun Saroeun thanked for the care and support of the Vietnam People’s Navy, contributing to proving the solidarity and friendship of the two sides while deepening the sound neighboring relations, traditional friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
