Lao officers visit PAN
PANO – A delegation of the Lao People’s Army, led by Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Army Newspaper of Laos Lieutenant Colonel Aphay Aphayavong, paid a fact-finding tour to the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) on November 30 during a refresher course on public communication in Vietnam.

On behalf of the PAN Party Committee, Board of Editors, journalists, and employees, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Hai expressed his delight at welcoming the Lao delegation to the PAN. He wished the Lao delegation would acquire meaningful experience and have a happy time in Vietnam.
At the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Hai briefed the delegation on the history and development of the People’s Army Newspaper over the past 70 years. He stressed that the visit of the Lao delegation contributed to deepening the solidarity, friendship, and close relationship between the two militaries.

Speaking at the working session, Lieutenant Colonel Aphay Aphayavong thanked the PAN for a warm reception and creating favorable conditions for the delegation of the Lao People’s Army to learn more knowledge of public communication.

He suggested the PAN and the Lao military press agencies should continue to enhance cooperation, particularly in personnel training, information sharing, and professionalism exchange, contributing to fulfilling missions of each side in the time to come.
