A highlight of the celebration was a scientific seminar on the Ebola virus, attended by representatives from the sector medical office, along with military units from Mongolia, Ghana, Pakistan, and the Ghana Police unit currently serving in the mission area.

An overview of the scientific seminar

At the seminar, doctors from Vietnam’s L2FH Rotation 7 presented professional research topics, exchanged and updated medical knowledge related to dangerous Ebola virus which is currently being closely monitored by the WHO and U.N. agencies.

Amidst the increasingly complicated developments of the disease, the mission’s medical authority has continuously issued warnings and disease prevention guidelines through the internal broadcast system to improve response capabilities for personnel serving in the mission. The Ebola virus seminar carried significant practical value by promptly equipping participating units with essential knowledge and enhancing awareness of disease prevention measures.

On the occasion, the unit also organized a gathering for all hospital staff and personnel.
