Kon Tum Border Guard holds talks with Attapeu Public Security Department

Both sides sign cooperation agreement.

During the talks, both sides agreed that since 2020, the social order and security situation along the borderline has been stable, while the two forces have promoted their role in protecting border security, strictly implementing the agreement on the regulations on land border and border gate management between the two countries, creating favorable conditions for people and goods transportation, boosting the special friendship and solidarity between the governments, armed forces and peoples of the two countries in general and of the border areas in particular.

Both sides also took the occasion to sign documents to implement cooperation contents in the time ahead, focusing on sharing information about activities of crimes, illegal border crossings, among others.

In addition, the two forces will coordinate to manage people and vehicles crossing border gates as regulated, while supporting each other and sharing experience in crime prevention and control.

At the same time, they will also boost dissemination and education among local people to encourage them to follow the agreement on regulations on land border and border gate management, contributing to cultivating the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
