The participation of the Vietnamese Defense Minister and delegation in these meetings at the invitation of the Singaporean Defense Minister Ng Eng Heng demonstrates Vietnam’s active, proactive and responsible engagement in regional cooperation within the framework of ADMM and ADMM+ mechanisms and the continuous implementation of Vietnam’s initiatives in ASEAN defense cooperation.

Vietnam can also promote its role and position in the region and the world through a wide range of activities of the multi-lateral forums as well as join common efforts to maintain regional peace, stability and development.
