On behalf of local leaders and authorities, Phanta Thonbongsa, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Xiengkhor District People's Committee, sent a message of thanks to leaders of the Vietnamese Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the General Department of Logistics.

In the letter, Phanta Thonbongsa affirmed that the program was a vivid demonstration of the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States, and two militaries of Laos and Vietnam established by Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh and Lao Presidents Kaysone Phomvihane and Souphanouvong.
He also hoped that the Lao locality would continue to receive more practical care from the VPA in general and the General Department of Logistics in particular.
