PANO – Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People Army, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan received a delegation of the Artillery Arm of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces headed by the arm’s Deputy Commander, Lieutenant General Lay Dara.

At the reception, both the host and guest expressed delight at recent positive developments in defense cooperation between the countries, contributing to bolstering friendship between the two armies.

General Lay Dara briefed General Tuan on the outcomes of the working sessions between the visiting delegation and the Artillery Arm of the Vietnam People’s Army. At the working sessions, the two sides discussed measures to exchange information and experiences with the aim of improving the quality of military training for troops of each side.

Highly valuing the results of the working sessions of the artillery delegations of the two armies, General Tuan affirmed that the Vietnamese Defense Ministry and General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army always support and facilitate the two artillery forces of the two armies in promoting cooperation in an effort to better serve security and defense of each country.
