Freedom Order of Laos awarded to collectives and individuals of Central Military Hospital 108
PANO - On February 25, in Hanoi, the Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam organized a ceremony to award Freedom and Friendship Orders of Laos to collectives and individuals from the board of health protection and care for central officials and the Central Military Hospital 108 of Vietnam.

In the “Vietnam - Laos and Laos - Vietnam Year of Friendship and Solidarity 2022," the Lao Party and State decided to present orders and medals to the collectives and individuals of the board of health protection and care for central officials and the Central Military Hospital 108 in recognition of their outstanding achievements in protecting and caring for the high-ranking leaders of the Lao Party and State over the past time. This has significantly contributed to nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, two states, and the people of both countries.

During the event, the representative of the Commission for External Relations of Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee announced the decision of the President of Laos to award the Third-class Freedom Order to two collectives, namely the board and the hospital, and one individual - standing deputy head of the board Tran Huy Dung; and to grant the Friendship Order to the department of health protection and care for central officials and the international department at the Central Military Hospital 108.
On behalf of the Lao President and PM, Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Chairman of the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, presented the orders to the collectives and individuals.

Speaking at the ceremony on behalf of the awardees, Tran Huy Dung emphasized that the awards were a significant encouragement, a tremendous motivation for the collectives and individuals of the board and the Central Military Hospital 108 to keep making efforts in their work. This, in turn, will contribute incessantly to nurturing the special Vietnam - Laos solidarity, he stressed.
