The mission was led by Royal Thai Air Force Attaché Group Captain Prapard Iamolee and attended by military attachés of Thailand, the U.K., Myanmar, Laos, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Malaysia, South Africa, the Republic of Korea, the U.S., and advisor of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Center. This was the first visit of foreign military attachés to Nha Trang since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out.

At the reception, Political Commissar of the Khanh Hoa provincial Military Command Senior Colonel Trinh Viet Thanh briefed the visiting attachés on the traditions of the South Central province and the unit’s mission over the past time.

Impressed by the warm reception, the mission of foreign military attachés to Vietnam thanked the provincial military command for helping them understand more about Vietnam in general and Nha Trang in particular.

The mission’s representative highly appreciated the Vietnamese Government’s pandemic prevention and control efforts as well as the military and the provincial military’s  command’s activities in helping the locality in containing the pandemic.

During the visit, foreign military attachés learnt more about the locality’s natural disaster response, humanitarian relief, and defense external relations. They hoped to have more opportunity to visit the Khanh Hoa provincial Military Command in the future through military and defense activities.
