Delegations of Departments of Operations of Vietnam and Cambodia hold talks

The Vietnamese delegation was led by Director of the Department of Operations Lieutenant General Nguyen Huy Canh, while the Cambodian delegation was headed by Director of the Department of Operations Lieutenant General Nim Balene.

During the talks, both sides reviewed the outcomes of the cooperation between the two operations departments in 2024 and the first eight months of 2025. Accordingly, they effectively implemented the contents of the Protocols for the 2020–2024 and 2025–2029 periods, as well as the cooperation plans for 2024 and 2025 agreed upon by the two Ministries of National Defense.

The two sides directed and guided their respective units and localities, within their assigned functions and responsibilities, to carry out cooperative activities with practical results, thereby helping both operations departments fulfill their designated tasks.

They also discussed projected cooperation activities for the remaining months of 2025 and for 2026.

At the end of the talks, the Vietnamese side presented facilities for command post to the Cambodian side.
