At the reception

At the meeting, General Lich congratulated the Chinese ambassador on his new appointment and hoped that, based on the common perceptions and important agreements reached by Party and State leaders of the two countries, the diplomat will make contribution to boosting Vietnam-China bilateral cooperation as well as defense ties which have become a pillar in the relationship of the two countries.

For his part, the Chinese ambassador thanked General Lich for the reception and vowed to spare no effort to strengthen Vietnam-China relations in different fields, including defense cooperation.
