As a result, the Vietnamese contingent ranked third, behind Russia and Belarus. In addition, the contingent also bagged two individual awards,  which were the best K59 shooting award for Sergeant Bui Trong Tien and Staff Sergeant Nguyen Duy Thang and the best demining award for Sergeant Bui Trong Tien.

“Despite the harsh weather conditions and regulations of the competition, the whole contingent overcame difficulties to accomplish their competition as quickly as possible,” shared Sergeant Bui Trong Tien.
