Accordingly, restoration of Truong Linh Tu, a temple in the citadel of the Ancient Capital of Hue, will be carried out in 2011 and 2012 under the auspices of Germany and Hue Monuments Conservation Centre.

Formerly Germany also financed the final restoration of pictures on walls and ceilings in the An Dinh Palace in Hue ancient capital in 2008. In late 2010, the country also helped Vietnam implement big projects to preserve and restore walls and partitions in Tu Duc Tomb in Hue and held a photo exhibition in response to the Hue Festival 2010.
