As planned, the hospital will administered around 1,400 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to German citizens in the city and and personnel of Ho Chi Minh City-based German businesses. The vaccine inoculation, scheduled to run until November, aims to help German people feel more secure when living and working in the city in particular and in Vietnam in general.

At the vaccination location, vaccine receivers are carefully instructed on how to fill in personal information, have their health checked before and self-monitor their health after vaccination. During the vaccination, COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures are strictly observed.

As reported, over the past years, Military Hospital 175 has conducted various cooperation programs with Germany, especially the establishment of Vietnam-Germany Medical Center in the hospital.

According to Major General Nguyen Hong Son, Director of Military Hospital 175, the vaccination program aims to both protect foreigners’ health and contribute to strengthening solidarity and friendship and promoting sharing spirit amid the pandemic time. The program also demonstrates the concern and care of Ho Chi Minh City’s authorities and the military to foreigners in the city, contributing to stabilizing their life to contribute more to the development of the city.
