Foreigners advised to wear helmets while riding motors
Many foreigners living and working in Vietnam have been fined for not wearing helmets while riding motorbikes, said Colonel Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Chief of Hanoi Traffic Police Department.

The police officer added that foreigners should follow the traffic laws when they are involved in road transportation.
So far, many foreigners, who violated Vietnam’s traffic rules, have been fined, said Colonel Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
However, policemen sometimes faced difficulties in dealing with traffic violations of foreigners because of language difficulties.
