Vietnam, Venezuela hold seventh political consultation
PANO – Vietnam’s Deputy Foreign Minister Pham Quang Vinh and his Venezuelan counterpart Ruben Dario Molina co-held the seventh political consultation at the deputy ministerial level in Hanoi on September 18.
At the function, the two diplomats informed each other of the situation in each country and discussed measures to further promote relations between the two countries and the two foreign ministries as well as exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.

The two foreign ministries reached consensus on promoting exchange of visits and bilateral meetings while implementing commitments reached by high-ranking leaders of the two countries and enhancing the effectiveness of bilateral trade and investment partnership along with joint projects in agriculture, defense and science and technology.
The two sides agreed to maintain the regular activities of the inter-governmental committee and political consultation between the two foreign ministries, and to continue working to complete the legal framework for bilateral cooperation.
They are of a single mind about coordination to organize activities to mark the 30th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in 2019.
