Rosalind Barrous, Coordinator of the Ho Chi Minh Committee in Santo Domingo province, delivered a commemorative address commemorating the Vietnamese leader, calling the man the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and one of the preeminent leaders in the 20th century.

The statement underlined that Ho Chi Minh’s thought retains its enduring value in today’s ongoing struggles for freedom and social equality, continuing to inspire peoples around the world in their pursuit of peace and justice.

The MIU Party's official affirmed that studying his thought remains the most meaningful way to follow the path he laid out – the one rooted in patriotism, international solidarity, and the aspiration to liberate humanity.

The ceremony concluded with resounding slogans honoring solidarity and peace, reflecting the steadfast friendship between the two countries' people and a shared commitment to making efforts for a fairer, more progressive world.
