CPV’s high-raking delegation visits Vientiane
PANO – A high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC), led by Politburo member and permanent member of CPVCC’s Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong visited Vientiane province on October 9 as part of their visit to Laos.
Warmly welcoming the CPV delegation, Mr. Vidong Sayasone, member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP)Central Committee and Party Secretary and Chairman of Vientiane Province, and the local leadership briefed Vietnamese delegates on the socio-economic development and the Party building of the Lao province as well as its sound relationship with Vietnamese localities.

The Lao officials vowed to further contribute to cementing the special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in the time to come.
For his part, Mr. Vuong hailed the Lao province’s achievements in various fields and highly valued cooperation outcomes achieved the two sides over the past time.
He hoped that the Lao locality would continue expanding comprehensive cooperation with Vietnamese provinces and cities, particularly in security-defense affairs, education and training, human resource’s development, among others.
