The Import-Export Department under the Trade Ministry announced that Turkey has decided to lift quotas on garment-textile exports from Viet Nam since it became an official member of the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
Accordingly, garment-textile products, which have been shipped to Turkey as of Jan. 11, will not be restricted by any quotas or export licences from the Trade Ministry.
Exporters will only have to finish procedures for their shipments at customs offices, the department added.
