Resolution approving 2022 state budget settlement issued
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has endorsed a resolution supplementing the state budget revenue estimate for 2022 and approving the state budget settlement for the same year.
The resolution outlines the allocation and use of increased revenue sources and regular savings for the 2022 state budget, amounting to over VND 3.1 trillion (USD 129.1 million), comprising an increase of VND 972 billion in central budget revenue and VND 2.13 trillion in local budget revenue.

The detailed state budget settlement for 2022 reveals a total revenue of more than VND 2.71 quadrillion and expenditures of over VND 2.89 quadrillion. This resulted in a deficit of over VND 293.3 trillion, or 3.07% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP).
The N.A. tasked the Government with publicly announcing the state budget settlement 2022 in line with legal regulations.
