KIDO will merge with Kinh Do group in the coming time, said KIDO JSC’s General Director Tran Quoc Nguyen.

A member of Kinh Do Group, KIDO company was previously known as Walls ice-cream factory Vietnam Unilever Bestfoods Co. Ltd. with capital of US$ 20 million.

In 2003, the trademark was purchased by Kinh Do and changed to KIDO JSC.

KIDO Company will merge with Kinh Do this year to share an administration and finance system.

The merger is expected to help the company not only reduce production costs but also expand the delivery network of more than 60,000 Kinh Do outlets.

At present, KIDO Company is constructing its second factory in Hung Yen province to meet market demands in the north.
