In 2025, Viettel’s consolidated revenue reached VND 220.4 trillion, up 13.8 percent; pre-tax profit reached VND 56.8 trillion, an increase of 4.5 percent; and contributions to the State budget amounted to VND 40.9 trillion.

In overseas markets, Viettel’s revenue increased by 23.9 percent, the highest growth rate in the past nine years. Viettel has become a core force in research and production of dual-use industry, mastering core technologies.

Addressing the conference, Gen. Nam emphasized that under the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, and with the close coordination and support of agencies and units both inside and outside the military, Viettel has made great efforts, overcome difficulties, accelerated and made breakthroughs, successfully accomplishing all tasks in 2025 with many outstanding achievements. He highly praised the group for its exceeding all production and business targets, achieving double-digit revenue growth, maintaining its position as the most effective and key state-owned enterprise, and making positive contributions to the country’s socio-economic development.

The defense leader underlined that Viettel continued to affirm its role as a technology pioneer, remained the No.1 telecommunications enterprise in Vietnam, and sustained strong growth momentum in overseas markets. In addition, the group excellently fulfilled its tasks in researching and producing high-tech weapons and equipment, especially strategic weapons.

Regarding tasks for 2026 and the time ahead, Gen. Nam requested Viettel Group to continue thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing guidelines and directives of the Party, the State and the military on coupling economic development with national defense consolidation, developing telecommunications services and defense industry.

Viettel was urged to perform well its role as a production force; actively innovate and enhance governance and management capacity; step up research and effective application of scientific and technological achievements, information technology solutions and digital services. It should also pro-actively review and reorganize its organizational structure towards professionalism, streamlining and efficiency.

The defense leader expressed confidence that Viettel would continue to successfully accomplish all assigned tasks and build itself into a symbol of a self-reliant, self-strengthened, dual-use and modern defense industry sector.
