Viettel develops app on nCoV
PANO – On February 7, after six days of implementation, the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) has officially completed a health application on nCoV, as directed by the Ministry of Health.
“Vietnam’s Health” is the single official information application of the Ministry of Health that helps people self-assess risks of infection, improve disease prevention knowledge, and get up-to-date information on the disease.
Thanks to the application, people know how to protect themselves from the disease, as well as find nearby health facilities if needed. The app is available on both Android and iOS platforms and can be used on smartphones and tablets.

Earlier, Viettel converted the nCoV hotline to the Ministry of Health’s hotline, which is 19009095. The group also established a teleconference between the ministry and 22 major hospitals across the country to discuss preventive approaches against the virus.
Meanwhile, Viettel Study, an online learning social networking solution of the mobile operator, is also free for students to study when they are at home due to the recent nCoV break.
On February 8, the Ministry of Health launched a teleconference on nCoV treatment and prevention with Viettel’s aid.
Viettel is currently building a medical chatbot to update nCoV information and prevention measures.
