The chain, developed by Viettel Post, automates all stages of the transportation chain, from warehousing to delivery.
Logistics hubs applying the solutions chain have seen a 40% boost in processing capacity and near-zero error rate. Currently, Viettel Post’s system can manage four million parcels daily, which is equivalent to meeting 50% of Vietnamese e-commerce capacity.

The chain of automation solutions developed by Viettel Post |
The automation solutions chain is the technological foundation for Viettel’s strategy to build a national infrastructure, including logistics parks, smart border gates as well as dry ports - infrastructure for transporting goods between Vietnam and foreign countries in the region and the world.
All robots, conveyor systems, as well as software systems used in storage, picking, packaging and sorting stages are technologically owned by Viettel.
The solutions chain is now applied across all Viettel Post’s processing centers, including Vietnam’s first and largest smart sorting technology complex in Quang Minh Industrial Park (Hanoi) and the logistics center in Lang Son.
In 2024, Viettel has invested in Laos, Thailand and China to provide comprehensive solutions for cross-border logistics. Besides, they will also introduce the Vietnam - China railway transport line and intend to develop additional routes linking Southeast Asian countries.
Viettel demonstrated four autonomous robots in the solutions chain: Drone (unmanned aerial vehicle for transporting goods to hard-to-reach locations); AGV sorting robot (autonomous robots for sorting goods); AGV picking robot (autonomous robot with a load capacity of 1 ton for transporting large cargoes); Robotic arm (robot utilizing computer vision to pick, lift and move goods).

Viettel introduces its 5G device ecosystem. |
At the event, Viettel also introduced its 5G device ecosystem and a green data center model.
The 5G base transceiver station and 5G core processing bloc, developed by Viettel High Tech, are intended to facilitate the widespread implementation of 5G in the time to come. Viettel’s 5G Private network (5G Private) will support automation in manufacturing and IoT applications in factories and enterprises.
Viettel aims to develop data centers (DCs) with a total capacity of 240MW which is approximately 1.5 times greater than the combined capacity of all current data centers in Vietnam. The initial model is Viettel Hoa Lac Data Center which is the first green data center in Vietnam with a double average capacity, using 30% renewable energy with the total electrical capacity of 30MW.
