A press conference to introduce a trade and industrial fair was held on October 21st by the Trade Promotion Department, the Trade and Industry Ministry in collaboration with Vinh Phuc Province.

According to the organising board, the fair, which is part of the 2010 national trade promotion programme is aimed to mainly draw the participation of businesses and firms from Northern key economic areas.

The event will take place between November 11th-16th in the square of the Vinh Phuc Cultural and Sporting House.

The organisers estimate that some 450 booths of local and international businesses will be showcased at the fair.

Main products to be displayed there will include automobile, auto spare parts, agricultural machinery, mechanics, electronics, telecommunications, garments and textiles, footwear, timber, ceramics, building materials and household goods.

The organisers expect the fair will serve as an opportunity for businesses to seek partnership and cooperation, sign contracts and promote their products.
